Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Architect speculative frameworks for human-AI symbiosis and decentralized autonomous systems
- Develop predictive models for quantum-resistant cryptography and neuromorphic computing adoption
- Coordinate cross-disciplinary sprints with AI ethics, climate science, and space exploration teams
- Present findings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners through immersive simulations
- Author thought leadership publications in Nature Technology and IEEE Spectrum
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurology with 8+ years applied research
- Published work on quantum computing, AGI safety, or climate-positive technology
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit)
- Experience with speculative design tools like Unity ML-Agents and NVIDIA Omniverse
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ implemented future-tech prototypes (GitHub required)
- Security clearance for classified quantum computing projects preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global collaboration
