As a key member of our Strategy & Innovation team, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global thought leaders to identify paradigm-shifting technologies. You'll translate complex foresight into actionable roadmaps while mentoring a team of futurists and technologists. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and possesses an insatiable curiosity about what's next.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for post-2026 technological breakthroughs
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Produce annual Future State reports with scenario-based forecasts and risk assessments
- Advise executive leadership on technology investment decisions and innovation pipelines
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Represent the organization at global tech foresight conferences and symposiums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology foresight, strategic innovation, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or industry forecasts
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complexity for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation portfolios
- Portfolio of foresight projects or published thought leadership required
