Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map 2026 technological and societal trends
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for emerging market opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype futuristic solutions (AR/VR, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Present visionary frameworks to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Establish KPIs to measure impact of future-focused initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive innovation
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio for 2026 pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR, WFS)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision projects
