Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Design and implement innovation pipelines for 2026 product ecosystems
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for cutting-edge research
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors with quantified impact assessments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and neurotech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation journals
- Experience with AI-driven foresight tools and predictive analytics platforms
