Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework, identifying disruptive trends in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Produce strategic white papers and market impact assessments for C-suite and board decision-making
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Architect the company's 2026 innovation pipeline, aligning R&D investments with future market demands
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and technology summits
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products or ventures
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, quantum AI)
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (papers, patents, or books)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M with measurable ROI
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
