Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
- Produce annual '2026 State of the Future' report with actionable recommendations
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing industry thought leadership through keynotes and publications
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to synthesize complex data into executive narratives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategy and risk mitigation
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications (e.g., Future Journal, HBR)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects implemented by major organizations
