Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year foresight frameworks targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Analyze global tech trends (AI, biotech, quantum computing) to identify competitive advantages
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future projections into product roadmaps and investment strategies
- Publish thought leadership reports that influence industry discourse and policy decisions
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adaptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
