Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Produce actionable future intelligence reports for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging market opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, government bodies, and industry disruptors
- Design and implement organizational foresight capabilities to embed future-thinking across all departments
- Present visionary roadmaps to stakeholders including board members, investors, and key clients
- Mentor junior futurists and drive thought leadership through white papers, speaking engagements, and industry publications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful business strategies and products
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, trend analysis, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex future scenarios into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing C-suite executives
- Published thought leader in foresight publications or industry journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
