Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap through rigorous trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global research labs
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing C-suite decision-making and investor relations
- Oversee a team of futurists and data scientists using proprietary forecasting platforms
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial products
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and board-level experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, CFS)
