Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptors and opportunities across AI, biotech, climate tech, and human-machine interfaces
- Produce executive-grade foresight reports and strategic recommendations for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, speaking engagements, and industry forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex insights into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive decision-making
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
