Responsibilities
- Design and execute horizon-scanning methodologies to identify disruptive trends across technology, geopolitics, and societal shifts
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario-planning models for 2026+ strategic frameworks
- Deliver executive-level presentations translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite clients to embed foresight into corporate planning
- Author premium research reports and thought leadership content for industry publications
- Build and maintain expert networks with academic, governmental, and private sector futurists
- Mentor junior analysts in advanced futures research techniques and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in professional futures research, strategic planning, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning
- Exceptional data visualization skills with tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in futures, innovation, or strategic planning domains
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic implications
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ complex futures research projects for enterprise clients
