Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026 market impact
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI
- Partner with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future market shifts
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists in rapid prototyping
- Present strategic insights to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Establish intellectual property portfolios protecting breakthrough innovations
- Drive organizational culture of continuous experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, or Innovation Management
- Deep expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through ambiguous technological transitions
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent strategic foresight training
