Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Develop 2026+ strategic scenarios and innovation roadmaps for executive leadership
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops with cross-functional teams
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and market intelligence briefings
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of future-readiness
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trends and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio of published future-oriented research or thought leadership
