Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026-2030 technology trend forecasts across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on emerging market disruptions and competitive threats
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to evaluate and prioritize breakthrough technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and government labs
- Present future outlooks to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and executive briefings
- Oversee prototype development of next-generation human-computer interaction systems
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives to embed foresight thinking across all departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and innovation budgets over $5M
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals preferred
