Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning across technology, social, and economic domains to identify disruptive trends
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend impact analysis
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for executive leadership to align on future possibilities
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps and market expansion strategies
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present future outlooks to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Integrate AI and emerging technologies into foresight methodologies for enhanced predictive accuracy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including Delphi technique, cross-impact matrices, and causal layered analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal transformation drivers
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into executive-ready insights
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend-to-strategy translation and scenario planning deliverables
