Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion based on future trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and implementation priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences on future-focused topics
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated future challenges and opportunities
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes to identify strategic advantages
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact methodologies
- Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, Trendalyzer)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex future scenarios into actionable insights
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-focused projects with measurable outcomes
