Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation framework, identifying disruptive trends in quantum, AI, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype future-focused products with 18-36 month horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry labs for cutting-edge research
- Translate futuristic concepts into actionable business cases with ROI modeling and risk assessment
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futures methodologies and emerging tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures research with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
