Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional 'FutureSprints' translating foresight insights into prototype concepts and business cases
- Develop quantitative foresight models using AI-driven trend analysis and predictive analytics
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-backed narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Oversee the Innovation Pipeline process from ideation to pilot launch
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, foresight consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or spatial computing
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix, or System Dynamics
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures journals (required)
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$5M and cross-functional teams of 20+
