Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and geopolitical trends to forecast market disruptions
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for 2026+ market positioning and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present futuristic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Produce quarterly trend reports and horizon scanning briefings
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in futures research (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
- Experience with AI-powered trend forecasting tools
