Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and environmental domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and present future scenario models and strategic roadmaps to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging market needs
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry pioneers to accelerate foresight capabilities
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, scenario planning, and weak signal detection
- Translate complex future insights into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with proven impact on organizational transformation
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trend analysis
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-stakes innovation environments
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals/conferences
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., scenario planning software, trend mapping platforms)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future insights
