Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech and societal trends to forecast industry transformations by 2026
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios for C-suite decision-making and strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Establish Horizon Labs as thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Partner with R&D teams to align future-proofing initiatives with product roadmaps
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, trend forecasting, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in technology convergence and systemic impact analysis
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Strong network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Passion for emerging tech and ability to communicate complex concepts compellingly
