Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal trends, and disruptive forces through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on future market landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and trend reports positioning FutureTech as a future-shaping authority
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future insights into actionable business strategies and investment opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent PhD with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful innovation strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies mastery
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to influence C-suite and board members
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (minimum 3 peer-reviewed articles)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent professional credential
