Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps for quantum computing integration across industries
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping AI-driven ethical governance frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (biotech, nanotech, neurotech)
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Author white papers published in Nature Futures journal
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through grant proposals and investor pitches
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 tech companies
- Published research in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Expertise in AI ethics, blockchain governance, and climate modeling
- Proficiency in foresight tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Track record of implementing future-ready policies (e.g., EU AI Act contributions)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R preferred)
- Public speaking experience at Davos or similar global forums
