- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate futuristic concepts into market-ready solutions
- Present strategic innovation insights to stakeholders and investors through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and technology pioneers
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with proven impact
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, blockchain, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Track record of launching innovative products or services with measurable market impact
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives or published thought leadership
