Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Produce foresight reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proof principles into roadmaps
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry panels
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global foresight network
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology adoption curves, and systemic risk modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or successful strategic implementations
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AGI, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complexity for diverse audiences
- Experience with futures methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and cross-impact matrices
