Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research initiatives forecasting technological convergence points through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-science into corporate roadmaps
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces positioning our company at the innovation frontier
- Manage cross-functional teams executing proof-of-concept projects for 2026-era applications
- Advocate ethical innovation principles while accelerating breakthrough development timelines
- Represent company at global forums discussing the future of human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record developing actionable roadmaps for complex technological ecosystems
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development
- Exceptional data modeling capabilities using predictive analytics and scenario planning tools
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M with measurable ROI outcomes
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Cambridge, Singapore)
