Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Create scenario-based strategic plans for 2026+ market positioning and risk mitigation
- Author high-impact trend reports and white papers published in industry publications
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic initiatives
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal impacts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
