Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology foresight frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead quarterly innovation workshops with engineering, design, and product teams to align on 2026+ opportunities
- Author proprietary research reports on quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate tech disruption
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and strategic pivots for global market expansion
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members at quarterly strategy summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Strong command of scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (portfolio required)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
