Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Deliver compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders through executive presentations and whitepapers
- Anticipate geopolitical and socio-economic shifts affecting technology adoption and market dynamics
- Champion ethical innovation practices and sustainable technology development principles
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of translating future trends into market-ready business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AR/VR
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy preferred)
