Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework predicting market shifts through 2035
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for disruptive innovations
- Produce strategic whitepapers and trend reports published in industry-leading journals
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists and establish new foresight methodologies for the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, consulting, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario modeling, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation domains
