Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-ready products and services
- Partner with C-suite to align organizational strategy with emerging technological paradigms
- Establish quantitative/qualitative metrics for tracking 2026 viability of innovation initiatives
- Present future-vision narratives to stakeholders through immersive storytelling formats
- Curate and maintain proprietary database of 2026-relevant disruptors and breakthrough technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused tech roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year future roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Deep understanding of 2026-relevant domains: quantum computing, biotech convergence, AGI ethics
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications (e.g., Futures, Foresight Journal)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Experience scaling innovation labs in Fortune 500 environments
