Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize emerging tech insights (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into executable strategies
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and visualizations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, innovation labs, and industry thought leaders
- Design and implement risk mitigation protocols for potential disruptions in the 2026-2030 timeframe
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of future-oriented innovation across the organization
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and external stakeholders at industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership on future trends or strategic foresight topics
- Experience developing long-term (5+ year) strategic roadmaps for technology-driven organizations
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
