Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic vision through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal innovation capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, or related field required
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leader in futurist or innovation publications
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies
