Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and implement scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making
- Architect the 2026 innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs and implementation pathways
- Present future-vision insights to executive stakeholders and Board members
- Partner with R&D, product, and marketing teams to align initiatives with long-term strategic vision
- Establish and lead an internal Futures Council to embed foresight methodologies across departments
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging trends and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable strategies
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and Board members
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight organizations) preferred
