Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation and innovation
- Produce trend intelligence reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market opportunities through predictive modeling and data analytics
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global forums on future trends and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategic innovation publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
