Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Build and mentor a team of futurists, data scientists, and innovation architects
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity preparedness
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford AI research for academic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published work on 4th Industrial Revolution implications
- Experience with cross-cultural innovation ecosystems and global policy frameworks
