Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) through 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models for long-term innovation
- Produce executive-ready reports and presentations on future technology landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to align innovation roadmaps with future market demands
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Advise C-suite on technology investments and market positioning strategies
- Build and lead a high-performing futurist team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies and their market implications
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic foresight programs
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical and predictive modeling skills
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Published work in technology forecasting or strategy (publications or patents)
