Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, scientific breakthroughs, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast 2026+ industry disruptions
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and investor stakeholders
- Establish ethical guidelines for emerging tech implementation
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Expertise in AI, biotech, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-tech implementations
