Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) and their market implications
- Develop comprehensive 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members with data-backed recommendations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Oversee patent strategy for breakthrough technologies in development
- Drive organizational adoption of foresight methodologies and future-proofing frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology forecasting, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term tech strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio published in industry journals or thought leadership platforms
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
