Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological trends, scientific breakthroughs, and market disruptions to forecast industry shifts post-2025
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption and implementation
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies and their potential business impact
- Partner with product teams to embed futuristic capabilities into development lifecycles
- Publish thought leadership reports on technology trajectories and their societal implications
- Advise executive leadership on technology investments and innovation portfolio optimization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years of experience in technology forecasting, strategic planning, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting futuristic concepts to executive audiences and boards
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-scanning work or technology impact assessments
