Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align strategic priorities with emerging tech trends
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and adoption readiness
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and integrate breakthrough startups
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Horizon Scanning' certification program
- Represent 2026 Labs at global tech summits and policy discussions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with direct experience in emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in AI ethics, quantum algorithm design, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex multi-variable scenarios
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 10-year forecasting accuracy
