Apex Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Senior Generative AI Architect to define the technological foundation for our 2026 roadmap. We are building the next generation of autonomous agents and large-scale language models, and we need a leader who can bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and production-grade infrastructure.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the architecture of our core AI infrastructure, ensuring scalability, safety, and performance as we approach the 2026 deployment targets. You will work directly with C-level executives to define technical strategy and mentor a world-class engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architectural design for our 2026 Generative AI product suite, focusing on LLM scalability and latency reduction.
- Design and implement distributed training pipelines capable of handling billions of parameters.
- Establish best practices for AI safety, bias mitigation, and ethical deployment.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Oversee the migration of legacy models to our next-gen inference engine.
- Drive technical decision-making regarding cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and edge computing integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale AI models in production environments.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Experience with GPU optimization and high-performance computing clusters.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
