Responsibilities
- Design & Deployment: Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of large language models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems optimized for production environments.
- Agentic Systems: Architect autonomous AI agents capable of complex reasoning, tool use, and self-correction to solve real-world business problems.
- Performance Optimization: Implement advanced inference techniques, quantization, and caching strategies to ensure sub-millisecond response times.
- RAG Architecture: Build and refine Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines to ensure AI outputs are grounded in verified, real-time data.
- Model Evaluation: Establish rigorous testing frameworks and metrics to continuously evaluate model accuracy, hallucination rates, and safety compliance.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Core Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- LLM Experience: Proven experience fine-tuning open-source models (e.g., Llama 3, Mistral) or working with proprietary APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic).
- Framework Mastery: Strong proficiency in LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- System Design: Experience designing distributed systems and MLOps pipelines (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Ray).
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex model failures and implement robust error handling in AI workflows.
