Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and implement the core technical roadmap for the 2026 initiative, ensuring scalability and resilience across distributed systems.
- Team Mentorship: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Technical Strategy: Translate complex business requirements into robust engineering solutions, making critical architectural decisions that impact product viability.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the optimization of system latency, throughput, and resource utilization to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between engineering, product, and executive leadership, providing clear technical insights and roadmaps.
- R&D Integration: Stay at the forefront of AI and cloud-native technologies, integrating cutting-edge research into production-grade code.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Core Tech: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, with proven experience designing microservices architectures.
- Cloud Mastery: Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- AI/ML Awareness: Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines, data engineering, and large language model (LLM) integration.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, the ability to lead through influence, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
