Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install residential and commercial piping systems, including water, gas, and drainage.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan pipe layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures and ensure compliance with local codes.
- Estimate material and labor costs for plumbing projects accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly to clients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Texas State Journeyman or Master Plumber License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the plumbing trade.
- Skills: Proficiency in pipefitting, soldering, threading, and leak detection.
- Tools: Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; technical trade school certification preferred.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
