Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts.
- Install new plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and piping systems according to local codes and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections to prevent future issues and ensure system efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and provide transparent cost estimates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to manage service calls and scheduling efficiently.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Plumber License (State of DC or VA).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
