Responsibilities
- Perform emergency repairs and maintenance on residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leak detection and pipe repair.
- Install, repair, and replace water heaters, toilets, sinks, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures with precision and care.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan the most efficient plumbing layouts.
- Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they become costly emergencies.
- Ensure all work complies with local Houston building codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized work vehicle.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience, with a strong preference for weekend availability.
- Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday through Sunday on a rotating schedule.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently.
