Responsibilities
- Architect and design the core kernel and subsystems for Project 2026, ensuring compatibility with next-gen hardware interfaces.
- Lead technical strategy and roadmap planning for legacy system modernization, ensuring a seamless transition to the 2026 framework.
- Drive performance optimization initiatives, reducing latency and maximizing throughput across distributed networks.
- Mentor a team of senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI researchers, security experts, and hardware engineers.
- Define and enforce architectural standards and coding best practices to maintain system integrity.
- Conduct deep-dive code reviews and troubleshoot complex system-level anomalies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a Principal or Staff Engineer role.
- Deep expertise in C++, Rust, or systems programming languages with a focus on memory management and concurrency.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying scalable operating system kernels or high-performance infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Experience with legacy system modernization and API design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
