Responsibilities
- Design and architect high-fidelity quantum circuits and error-correcting codes.
- Develop control software and middleware for quantum processing units (QPUs).
- Analyze and mitigate noise and decoherence in quantum systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum modules into cloud platforms.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum algorithms in real-world environments.
- Lead technical mentorship and code reviews for junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, superconducting circuits, or photonic quantum systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum software stacks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics.
- Experience with hardware description languages (Verilog/VHDL) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
