Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography problems.
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error mitigation strategies using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks.
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid software stacks to interface with next-gen quantum processors.
- Conduct research on post-quantum cryptography and quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols.
- Mentor junior quantum developers and establish coding standards for quantum software engineering.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize software for specific quantum hardware constraints.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software development with Python, C++, or Rust.
- Expert knowledge of quantum computing libraries such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Forest SDK.
- Strong understanding of quantum gates, quantum error correction, and entanglement.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
